Our last collaboration before the 2020 lockdown with our super pals over at Big Mountain Brewing, and a surefire cult favourite takes its rightful place as the pale ale showing for our new Icons range. We've revisited this beer several times over its lifespan, and originally our first foray into using everybody's new favourite hype hop Sabro in one of our beers, we're now world-weathered in the little quirks and idiosyncrasies of this incredible varietal. Amplified up to the max, Sabro brings a metric tonne of sweet, creamy, pineapple and coconut notes before being reeled in by an in-house Polly's favourite in Citra to keep everything balanced. Named for a truly terrible George Takei impression, this beer will literally make you say "...Oh my!".

Little Oh My - Pale Ale 4.5%

A cult beer since its inception back in 2020, Oh My has steadily grown itself a dedicated fan base that fawns over its easy to utilise, but tremendously difficult to master balance-wise combination of Citra and Sabro. Whilst we will always love the original version to the bitter end; we’ve always found it to be at the more challenging end of the pale ale ABV spectrum; full bodied enough to compete with our bigger IPAs, but a little too strong to session on. With this in mind, we decided to reignite our series of beers that take all the flavour intensity of our well-renowned bigger beers, scale it back to sessionable strength without sacrificing any of the qualities that made the original so great. Hello then, Little Oh My - a beer brewed specifically with pints of our in-house favourite beer in mind. Sabro is the dominant hop in this beer; that uniquely Sabro flavour kaleidoscope is on full display with tropical fruits, coconut, and just a whisper of creme de menthe, backed up with fresh cut citrus fruits from our old dependable, Citra.

The best things always come in trilogies don’t they? It’s been a long time coming, but our third entry into the Oh My series of beers might be our most complex to date. A series that delves into the wonderful world of Sabro and the little quirks that accentuate it in different pairings, we could have gone anywhere after the v1 pairing of Sabro and Citra, and then v2’s pairing of Sabro and Simcoe. Wanting to eschew the expected direction of new school hype silliness on v3’s effort, we’ve gone ahead with a much more mature hop pairing this time around; choosing the Australian titan Enigma to pair with Sabro this time around. Why Enigma we hear you ask? Honestly, it’s the absolute bomb - the wonderful idiosyncracies of Enigma’s redcurrant and cantaloupe flavours bounce off Sabro’s coconut, apricot and cream, and cedar notes so well that we were absolutely astounded when we took a sample from tank. Easily our most complex entry into the Oh My canon yet, but arguably the most flavoursome.
